Governance for the National Association of Construction Auditors is provided by the Executive Board. The Executive Board is headed by the Chairman. Its members are appointed and serve on a voluntary basis. All members of the Executive Board must hold the CCA and/or CCP designation and be a member in good standing. The Executive Board is responsible for setting membership standards and determining the direction of the association. It has sole authority over the admission of members, including but not limited to examination standards, establishing, modifying and enforcing the Code of Ethics, and establishing the continuing professional education requirements.
Brian D. Felix, CCA, CIA, CFE, CFS, CISA, is Chairman and co-founder of the National Association of Construction Auditors. He has over 30 years of experience in auditing, internal controls, fraud investigations, and forensic auditing & accounting. He has previously served as a Chief Auditing Executive and as the Director of Construction Services & Forensics Auditing for an international auditing services firm. Brian is founder of BDF & Associates, as well as a partner in Construction Auditing & Accounting Professionals, LLC; construction auditing & accounting firms located in Virginia.
Carl E. Hansen, CCA, CPA, CIA, CISA, is Vice Chairman and co-founder of the National Association of Construction Auditors. He is an MBA graduate of University of Wisconsin’s School of Business. He is recognized as a national leader in the auditing profession and is a frequent seminar leader and presenter for national professional organizations on topics related to world class internal auditing. He has also served as an officer and/or board member for those same organizations. Carl has served as the Chief Auditing Executive for several Fortune 500 organizations and is currently serving in that capacity for a large international law firm.
